Reflections on Pridefest 2024

Do you remember that beautiful day in September?

On Saturday, September 14, 2024, VA Pridefest, presented by OutRVA, brought tens of thousands of people together in a vibrant celebration of Richmond’s LGBTQ community. The day was filled with joy, unity, and incredible performances by Tank and the Bangas, the legendary Crystal Waters, and Robin S., who had everyone dancing with their iconic hits. Over 150 vendors filled the festival grounds, offering everything from local goods to community resources.

The Allianz Youth Pride Pavilion was a special highlight, providing a space for LGBTQ youth, their friends, and families to connect, celebrate, and feel empowered. It fostered a sense of belonging and pride for our future generations.
