Champion Diversity
Diversity Richmond’s mission is to be a catalyst, a voice, a place, and a resource that enriches and champions a diverse community, aspiring for a vibrant, inclusive community that is safe and welcoming for LGBTQ+ people, families, and allies.
We strive to provide programming that is both affirming and advances our mission to hold our systems accountable in promoting full human and civil rights for all Virginians.

Equity & Inclusion
Diversity Richmond values diversity and is committed to seeking equity and inclusion for all in the LGBTQ+ community.
Our priority is to create experiences that embrace individuals of all identities as well as intentionally working to elevate those of our LGBTQ+ community that are disproportionately impacted including people of color, trans individuals, and those that identify as non-binary or gender non-conforming.
OUR IMPACT
How We Do it
Diversity Richmond raises money through community donations and sales from Diversity Thrift, and Diversity Bingo!, a popular community activity, in addition to our member program, space rentals, and special event fundraising.
In addition to our Board of Directors and staff, Diversity Richmond depends on the amazing assistance of community volunteers, in addition to partnerships with so many other non-profit organizations
