October Celebrations
If there is one thing we know how to do in our community it is celebrating. We make time, put in effort and relish in the moments that invite us to pause, take stock and celebrate who we are, how far we’ve come and the possibility of a bright future.
October continues to sweep us into celebrations, from honoring Hispanic Heritage month to marking LGBTQ+ history month and continuing to raise awareness of breast cancer and domestic violence. We are definitely in the flow of celebration. And at the same time we find ourselves grappling with the heartbreaking events happening in our world. Life teaches us that two things can be true at the same time. Our thoughts, prayers and positive energy go out to all impacted by what is happening in our world.
This moment invites us to mark how far we've come and embrace the pursuit of building community, celebrating diversity and changing our world.
COME ON OUT & CELEBRATE!
Join us Sunday, October 22nd for the rescheduled Pridefest 2023! This event will bring together both young and young at heart to celebrate the fabulousness of our LGBTQ+ community, allies and supporters.

We will be celebrating our VA Pride sponsors, giving grants to community partners and revealing our new identity. You absolutely want to be there for this monumental celebration!
