Gay Fathers Coalition of Richmond is a social and support organization that exists to provide support and information for gay and bisexual men that are fathers, their partners, children, friends and supporters.


He She Ze and We

He She Ze and We is a confidential peer-led support group for parents, caregivers, and adult family members who support transgender and gender-diverse individuals of all ages. He She Ze and We holds weekly parent/caregiver support groups, monthly family playgroups, and many other opportunities for the community to connect with other families.


James River Transgender Society

James River Transgender Society is a group dedicated to serving those persons undertaking gender transition. JRT offers monthly support group meetings, mentoring, and resources for anyone who is gender variant. Support group meetings are the first Friday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Gay Community Center of Richmond.

Richmond LGBT Meet-up Group is a great way to meet other local LGBT community members in various social settings. The goal is to facilitate discussions and interactions with like-minded individuals about anything of interest (coming out, dating, politics, careers, etc.) while having fun at the same time.
