Our Story
In 1999 The Gay Community Center of Richmond was founded to support agencies and groups that serve Central Virginia’s sexual and gender minority people. By 2015 the name was changed to Diversity Richmond to reflect a more inclusive and expansive community.
Today Diversity Richmond exists as a space for the LGBTQ+ community to gather and promote each other through advocacy and inclusion.
