DONATIONS

Diversity Richmond exists thanks to the incredible support of our LGBTQ+ community, friends, families and allies.

Ways To Support

Diversity Richmond is a welcoming home for connection, creativity, and community. As a hub for Richmond’s LGBTQ+ community and our allies, Diversity Richmond exists to ensure that everyone who walks through our doors feels seen, valued, and celebrated.
Our space is more than just a building — it’s a place to gather, to organize, to heal, and to create. From support groups and community conversations to art exhibitions and celebrations, Diversity Richmond brings people together in ways that affirm identity and build belonging.

At our core, we believe LGBTQ+ people belong — fully and unapologetically — in every part of our community. Whether you are exploring your identity, seeking connection, advocating for change, or simply looking for a space where you can exhale, Diversity Richmond is here for you.
You belong here.

Donate today to help us be the HUB of Greater Richmond!

Pride is about building community, together. And it takes all of us to do our part. Every
day Virginia Pride works to make LGBTQ folks feel safe, seen and celebrated by standing up for our community and building connections that make the Richmond region one of the most welcoming in the country. We hold dozens of events, including an annual Pridefest, throughout the year celebrating the diversity of people that make Richmond such a special place. But we cannot do this without you. Join us by making a donation today to send a powerful message that "We are here. We are queer. And we are NOT going anywhere." Together, we can build a Richmond that is unapologetically proud.

When Michelle isn’t working, she stays busy writing sapphic romance under the pen name Brooke Campbell, baking goodies, and obeying her cats.

Other Ways to Give

We raise money through key efforts such as Diversity Thrift. We love your cash donations, but there aren’t many organizations that also allow you to donate an old piece of furniture, clothing, or some knick-knacks, get a tax write-off, and then parlay that into the kind of community support that we offer.
