We accept drop-off donations Tuesday through Sunday from 10am – 3pm. If you are dropping off large pieces of furniture, please call ahead to make sure we have not reached capacity for the day.
We take almost anything in gently used condition. We are not able to accept items in poor condition. All donations are tax deductible and proceeds support the programs of Diversity Richmond.

Please email photos of your furniture and contact info to thrift@diversityrichmond.org and we’ll be in touch to schedule a pickup. We are unable to do same-day pickups! Drivers and staff have discretion to refuse any item for donation on the basis of its condition.

All items must be in good, usable/working condition – no rips, stains, odors, excessive pet hair, or damage!

Make an Impact
Since its inception, Diversity Richmond has donated over $1 Million to local non-profits, largely through the success of Diversity Thrift and the generosity of those who donate merchandise to Diversity Thrift.
Thanks to our donors, customers, volunteers, and staff, Diversity Thrift continues to support the efforts of Diversity Richmond and thus the wider Richmond community.
